  • Weight: 25–40 lbs (11–18 kg)

  • Coat: Short, dense, and sleek

  • Color: Black, fawn, brindle, or occasionally white

  • Ears: Erect and triangular

  • Tail: Curled or sickle-shaped

  • Intelligent and Alert: Quick learners and often wary of strangers (excellent watchdogs).

  • Modern urbanization has led to a decline in their natural population, but conservation efforts are ongoing.
